The free surgery and related treatment the we sponsor is performed by a local medical team in a local hospital in a developing country. This "teach a man to fish" strategy builds in-country capacity while helping very poor but proud communities become self-sufficient, on smile at a time.
Since 1999, we have provided free cleft surgery to more than 270,000 children who would have otherwise never received it."
