Uganda

Uganda is a very poor and rural African country, but despite all this they have made progress in slashing poverty rates down! Most of the poverty lies in the rural villages in Uganda.

Poverty In Uganda

Poverty lies heavily in the developing areas, such as, villages and farm lands. These places lack clean water, medical supplies, plumbing, and electricity.

Most of these people are under the poverty line, and illiterate. With around 300 children dying every year just from malnutrition, Uganda is a war zone.

Surviving in Uganda is a real struggle, some people even eat the red clay that is plentiful there. They have to fight every minute to survive.

This country needs our help, we should speak up for these people.

And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” -Mark 10:21
