I recently heard of a missionary who was captured and put into a labor camp. As his job he was forced to work with all the sewage. After a few weeks of working there it seemed hopeless, but he realized that since none of the guards wanted to go even near the place he wasn't under heavy surveillance.
He was able to sing PRAISES without being told to stop. He sang hymns, and praised God! He said that God enabled him to make that dreaded, and disgusting place his quiet place.
It amazing how God can give hope even in the darkest places! Give hope to children living in just-as-dirty slums! Sponsor a child today!
